Couldn’t ask for anything more. Enjoyed the nice little touches. Wish we had stayed longer to use all the facilities. Great base for golfing or any sightseeing and the Golf Hotel does great meals. Home from home. Very well equipped house in every room. Location fantastic- quiet housing estate but walk through back garden to a gate and a small road takes you quickly to the sea. The view from the back of the house is a lovely open aspect across fields. Also the bus will stop outside the house, very convenient.

Lots to visit nearby but we mainly enjoyed the quieter town of Crail compared to St. Andrews given the age of the children.

The East Neuk of Fife is a beautiful part of the world and Crail makes a perfect base for exploration. There are several shops in the village, a couple of... read more pubs, and a bus service between Leven and St Andrews that goes right outside the house. The road is away from the historic village and has quite a suburban feel, but the house is very homely and comfortable. The bikes all seemed to be in good repair, the summer house was very pleasant, and the house had everything I needed. Thoroughly recommended.
