Super well equipped place with lots of extras you wouldn’t just expect to be included. Very clean. Lots of personal touches that make you feel very welcome. Great communication with the owner.
Couldn’t ask for anything more. Enjoyed the nice little touches. Wish we had stayed longer to use all the facilities. Great base for golfing or any sightseeing and the Golf Hotel does great meals. No need to worry about things to do. Kirsty has thought about that too and has loads of ideas. Very helpful.
Home from home. Very well equipped house in every room. Location fantastic- quiet housing estate but walk through back garden to a gate and a small road takes you quickly to the sea. The view from the back of the house is a lovely open aspect across fields. Also the bus will stop outside the house, very convenient.

We stayed here for a week in July as soon as lockdown restrictions were lifted. The house was in impeccable condition inside and was nicely decorated with many beach themed... read more pictures and ornaments. Lots of cushions and throws made for a lovely comfy atmosphere. Kitchen and bathroom were sparkling clean and had everything that we could need. The rear garden is a great asset too. It had a good size bit of grass for the kids to run around; a cosy summerhouse that was great for chilling out and a gate that leads via a short path right down to the beach. There is also a small patio area and we sat out one evening in the glorious sunshine eating fish and chips. Another fantastic inclusion is the collection of adult and kids bikes in the garage. We used these quite a bit to go up and down the back path to the beach and also cycled along past the airfield to the golf club. The roads were really quiet, but there was good variety of helmets for everyone that we used as well. The day after we arrived, we were returning from the beach when the neighbour surprised us with a tray stacked with fruit, chocolate, cheeses, oatcakes, jam etc etc that had been dropped off for us. I think it is always obvious when the owner of a holiday home has spent extra time and effort to make a place 'special' and is genuinely interested in ensuring guests have as good a time as possible. I would say that's certainly the case here and can really make the difference to a holiday. I've already recommended beach house walk to friends and when we are next up in Crail, we'll be hoping to book again.
The East Neuk of Fife is a beautiful part of the world and Crail makes a perfect base for exploration. There are several shops in the village, a couple of... read more pubs, and a bus service between Leven and St Andrews that goes right outside the house. The road is away from the historic village and has quite a suburban feel, but the house is very homely and comfortable. The bikes all seemed to be in good repair, the summer house was very pleasant, and the house had everything I needed. Thoroughly recommended.

The kitchen had everything yiu might ever need... read more and plenty of crockery and cutlery which is always very welcome. We were very fortunate to have lovely weather the week we were there, with lots of sunshine so everywhere looked lovely. We didn’t use the bikes which are included in the rental but did think it was a great idea, especially for families. Would not hesitate to recommend.
